The One-o-seventh Royal Dutch Underground Company was founded in 1971. At first O.R.D.U.C. was a band wich wanted to play a mixture of Frank Zappa’s and Pink Floyd’s music from the late sixties. But after the initial members had left, the founder - Nico Selen - decided to go on with O.R.D.U.C. as a project for experimental music. Gradually the music chanced to minimal-pop.
